The Power of Camp (Video)

Transforming Lives…

Change is temporary, transformation lasts forever!

How many retreats and seminars have we all been to where we had a mountain top experience? Lots! The problem is, over time, without the right tools and without a partnership with God and our own discipline, we begin to “leak”, meaning we then begin to strive to return to the mountain top and often quit disappointed. That’s a human doing rather than a human being. At Idyllwild Pines we believe that transformation is the work of God alone as He transforms a person’s life and becomes Master and King. Through the God-given programming we provide here at IPCC, our campers receive the tools they need to begin and maintain an intimate relationship with God. The result: the everlasting transformational fruit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control. Fruits of the Spirit of our Almighty God.

Video Sermon – “The Perfect Rescue”

Presented by Martha Snyder, Executive Director at Idyllwild Pines Camp on May 22, 2012. The Perfect Rescue is a study of Luke 8:26-39. Jesus demonstrates to His disciples how they need to “get out of the boat”.  While in theory we would all say we are willing to travel closely with Jesus, there are times when our fears can cause us to stay put in our own boats. We vote with our feet!  Do we stay or do we go?

Beat the Summer Heat

Calvary Chapel Murrieta held their 3rd and 4th grade retreat at IPC on July 21, 2011. With temperatures in the mid 80’s all week it was perfect weather for a day at the pool. The campers enjoyed helping their councilors get a little wet also!
