No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. Joshua 1:5-6

The Declaration: God tells Joshua, “Be stong and courageous” in verse 5. The declaration is a command from God, not something that has to be mustered up by Joshua. The commandments of God brings blessing to those who respond in obedience. The blessings were houses, that they didn’t have to build, and fields tht they didn’t have to plant.
